Awaiting consent of the Senate is President Bush's nomination for replacement of Tom Ridge. That would be former New York City police commisioner Bernard Kerik. He has been a part of the efforts relating to 9/11 and terrorism since well, 9/11, so this should be nothing new to him.
Bush nominates Kerik for Homeland Security.
