Right now, all over the world governments are talking about biometric driver's licenses. It seems to be in the same stages just about everywhere. Just 'talk'.
It'll be interesting to see who is the first.
NORTHERN Ireland driving licences could include mandatory fingerprint samples if changes advocated by the Government go ahead, it emerged today.
The Government is consulting on European Commission plans to introduce a harmonised driving licence across the European Union and believes that a proposed microchip in the licence should contain personal identification like fingerprint and iris patterns.
